Skyborne Horde Name Generator for WoW Forever

Windshaper Skyborne names sound breathy and in motion: airy sibilants, soft Hs, and open endings that seem to trail off on the wind. Though they share the High Order's descent from the Highborne, the Windshapers embraced the elemental air magic their people learned while hidden in the Skywall, and they act as the spiritual leaders of the Skyborne. Their surnames come from gale, gust, cloud, and storm rather than scrolls and spellbooks. In WoW Forever, pair a flowing first name with a wind-touched surname for a Skyborne who clearly belongs to the Horde.

Windshaper names should feel like a prayer said on a cliff edge. Surnames built from breeze, zephyr, cloud, or crest suit their elemental faith, and a nod to soaring on Galestrider mounts fits too. As the newest race, wind names will be popular at launch, so try less common roots like squall or updraft.

Frequently asked questions

What makes good names for Skyborne Horde characters in WoW Forever?

Can I use funny names for Skyborne Horde characters on the RP ruleset?
