WoW Forever Guild Name Generator

A guild name is the banner every member carries, and it shows up in chat, on nameplates and in every group finder listing. This generator gives you guild names for WoW Forever in the same Lore, Funny and Trollish tones as the character tool.

Guild names follow different rules from character names. Blizzard's standing policy allows 2 to 24 characters, with spaces and mixed capitals, but no numbers or symbols. That extra room means you can use phrases, titles and multi-word names that would never fit on a character.

Lore results read like orders, companies and houses that could exist in Azeroth. Funny results lean on wordplay that looks good in a recruitment post. Trollish results are for guilds that want everyone in the zone to know they have arrived.

If your group also wants a shared second name, pair this tool with the guild surname generator so your guild tag and your character names tell the same story. Every result is a share link, so you can drop options straight into your guild chat for a vote.

      Frequently asked questions

How long can a guild name be in World of Warcraft?

Blizzard's standing naming policy allows guild names from 2 to 24 characters. Unlike character names, guild names can include spaces and mixed capitals, but numbers and symbols are still not allowed. NameForge keeps every guild name result within those limits.

Can a guild name have spaces?

Yes. Guild names may include spaces and mixed capitals under Blizzard's naming policy, which is why multi-word names like orders, companies and houses work for guilds. Character names, by contrast, must be a single word with only a leading capital.

What makes a good WoW Forever guild name?

A good guild name is easy to read in chat, easy to type into a search, and says something about the group. Short phrases with a clear image tend to stick. Pick the tone that fits: lore for serious guilds, funny or trollish for social ones.
